Internet banking account hacked.
My friend is having some problems with his laptop. It seems that his Internet banking account has been hacked, and the bank advised to do some scans. After scanning with Anti Spyware, a few tracking cookies were removed. He asked me to give a hand with them. I am not experienced in the job. Any help would be massively appreciated, as his bank won't let him access the account until his PC is clean!
Able to view only the desktop icons and start menu
For some days, I am able to view only the desktop icons, start menu and the taskbar running windows explorer via task manager. It appears only for a few seconds. On enquiry, someone said that it is due to malwares in the PC. Have tried several anti-virus, Anti Spyware, but nothing is showing up. Please help me! Thanks!
Real problem - but no solution!!
Hello, I am having problems with my computer for few months. It says it I am not a valid user or I don’t have any valid password. It goes to a network account. I am supposed to be the only user of this computer - with no other network besides sharing a router with my husband. I have reinstalled XP 2 times, without any change. I have had both Dell and Microsoft trying to help me, without success. Every online and installed virus scanner I have tried has said I have no problem. The suggested tests found a problem, but I am not sure what to do now.
